Charities come out in favour of paper bills and statements

27th July 2018

Keep Me Posted is proud to announce that our coalition of charities and consumer advocacy groups continues to grow as we welcome some new supporters.

Leading charities Scope and Mencap who support people living with disabilities are joining over 100 other charitable organisations who formally support our campaign.

4.5 million adults in the UK have never used the internet (ONS, 2018). This number is disproportionately made up of vulnerable groups including the elderly, disabled and those living in poverty or rural areas. Our charitable partners recognise that our campaign is essential for their service users who rely on access to paper bills and statements to manage their finances as opposed to electronic methods.

The Royal Society for Public Health, which champions the promotion and protection of collective health and wellbeing, is also joining our family of charitable partners.

On the consumer advocacy side, we are delighted to welcome the The Fair Banking Foundation and the Rural Services Network. Both organisations are committed to consumer choice for billing methods as an integral part of managing one’s finances.

Welcome to the Keep Me Posted family!
